Athletics are a fun way for students to learn sportsmanship and get exercise. Kids in fourth and fifth grades can participate in volleyball, basketball and track at Eisenhower.

Safety patrol

Eisenhower fifth-graders have an opportunity to show their responsibility and leadership as members of the school’s safety patrol. Working with adults, the safety patrol helps students and parents safely cross nearby streets before and after school. Interested students may apply with paraeducator Linda Oxley.

Boys and Girls Club

The Boys and Girls Club offers after-school and summer programs for students in first through fifth grades. The Clinton & Gloria John Clubhouse is located at 409 NE Anderson Rd. Students may take the bus from Eisenhower Elementary for an additional nominal fee.

YMCA after-school enrichment

The YMCA offers after-school enrichment sessions at Eisenhower Elementary School. For schedules and information, call 360-885-9622.
